9:57 pm	Goodbye I know, I know, I haven't been keepin everyone posted on whats going on but this will be my last post in probably a good 4 months. I leave for bootcamp on Wednesday... well technically tuesday cuz I gotta stay in a hotel cuz I leave early Wed. But anywayz, I had my goodbye/goodluck party today and then tomorrow I'm goin to the drag races and obviously monday and tuesday I'm sayin my goodbyes to my parents. Everyone wish me luck. 8:47 am	FINALLY So on christmas day Max finally proposed!! It was so romantic and sweet and oh my goodness. :) :) :). He got me a beautiful silver antique music/jewelry box with a cameo on it and then he put the ring in it. When I opened the lid it played Unchained Melody (he timed it so it would start at the beginning when I opened it. I was soooo not expecting it and I was shaking and kept sayin "oh my, oh my goodness!" and he was shaking and my ring is BEAUTIFUL! Its white gold with 3 saphires and 2 diamonds inbetween the saphires. Its perfect, he's perfect and I'm happy. *beams* Current Mood: ecstatic (2 Comments |Comment on this)

9:29 am	Oh my goodness!! Wow, so I've been reading all my Navy material yesterday and today. Holy cow!! And people say that joining the military is easy..... F*CK that!!! This is like studying for the hardest test of my life!!! All of the language is new to me, the officer's ranks and stuff I'm never gonna remember, not to meantion I don't even know how to salute yet!!! Ugh.... this is way harder than I thought it was gonna be and I haven't even gotten to boot camp yet!!!! I CAN DO IT, I CAN DO IT, I CAN DO IT. I hope. Current Mood: busy (Comment on this)

1:57 am	Hey look! I got a new pic on my page. Yup thats me and my baby... wearin his Navy hat too!! Yeah, go Navy. I can't wait till I leave, I've been tryin to work out more and more and get into better shape so I don't die in boot camp. Damn, its gonna be hard work but well worth it. By the way, for everyone that doesn't know, I am coming home before I ship out. I'll probably be there estimated from Feb 2nd to the 13th. At least thats what I'm shootin for. 10:06 am	The Update.... so that everyone isn't so confused. Okay, so the update goes like this: My fiancee Max has been thinking about joining the military for some time now. He went and talked to the airforce, marines and army but never joined any of them. He tried to join the Army but kept getting put aside by the recuiter. Finally me and a friend of mine talked him into going and talking to a navy recuiter cuz I've always been partial to the Navy. He did, and joined. He is a culinary specialist and leaves Feb 15th. Well, watchin him go through all this I decided that I didn't want to just sit around and play the good lil housewife. Soooo.... I joined so I could better myself, go through w/ school easier and travel the world. I went and took care of everything on Saturday and was officially sworn in. I will leave on March 1st and my title is Master of Arms, which is basically Military Police. Its something that many people try and get into but very few can because of the security clearance you need. Basically you have to have a impecably clean record (financial, police, physical) So yeah, go me!! As for the wedding, looks like we are planning on sometime around New Years. We were gonna go the end of January but Max's mom is already gonna be in town for Christmas and it would be hard to fly her here again for the wedding less than a month later. So I think that narrows it down a little. Life is great and I can't wait to get married and start in the Navy. :) :) (2 Comments |Comment on this)

5:16 pm	Update in the life if Randi..... *sigh* Okay, so not in the greatest mood today even though I probably should be..... School sucks, work REALLY sucks. The good news is, we finally sold the house up in Idaho. If you wanna look at it as good news. Makes me very sad and homesick. I've been gettin pretty homesick lately, with the house selling and remembering my birthday last year with all my friends and such. Not to meantion old traditions. I do get to go to a huge concert for my birthday though. I have backstage passes and everything so it'll be cool I guess. I don't really know any of the bands, but Max does so at least he'll have fun. Here's who I know is playin so far. I'll find out more tomorrow when they release the rest. 12:49 pm	Ouchies Ohh I hurt soooo bad! I decided to pull a muscle in my back last night when I picked up lil morgan while I was babysitting. Didn't sleep all that well last night and it hurts to move. Not to meantion that I gotta go to work here in a lil while. Yippy skippy for me. This weekend was supposed to be good too!! 6:08 pm	San Diego Okay so San Diego was INCREDIBLE!!! Max stayed w/ me Thursday night so as soon as I got home on Friday we left. Drove 5 hours there and got our camp site in Chula Vista. Saturday morning we got up early and headed to Sea World. Went and saw the Shamu Show like 3 times. There's a new baby whale and it was SOOOO cute!! Went on all the rides, saw all the shows and walked around the park till about 9pm. Went to go back to the camp site but me bein the great navigator that I am ended up in Tejuana, MX before I realized I was lost. Finally got back to the campsite and passed out. Sunday we drove out to Coranado Island to go to the beach. Well, on our way we passed this park and there were all these volkswagens so I turned around and it ended up bein a big VW show/cruise. It was sooooo cool! I got lots of neat pics. Finally got to the beach, swam lots, went and ate dinner and then came home. It was so relaxing. It was probably the best weekend I have ever had. The only part that sucked was crossing back into Arizona. I can't wait till I'm out of here. Ugh. But anyways, things are great and I'm loving life. 1:20 pm	An update on the bad sit. Otay so the whole bad situation thing. I made the right decision, very very happy about it and everything is going great. Ended up tellin the one guy that moved here that I didn't want to be with him.... a couple days later the other guy (my best friend in the whole world) told me that he's in love with me which works out quite well considering I've been in love with him but didn't want to be... whole different story..... but anywayz. 9:04 pm	AWESOME NEWS Okay, so I get back home and have my first day back at work yesterday. Wasn't too thrilled about it cuz they told me before I left to go back home that I was gonna be laid off probably in like a month so yeah, wasn't really lookin forward to yesterday. But I got there and everyone was super nice and then at the end of the day, my boss tells me that him and the owner have to have a "meeting" with me today. So I go into work about an hour early and they tell me that not only am I NOT getting laid off, I start FULL TIME tomorrow morning AND they are givin me a big raise (probably doubling my pay) not to meantion bonus's and benifits and the whole shabang!!! I AM SOOOOO EXCITED! This solves soooo many problems, not to meantion I get to keep my job, which I love. Now I'll be able to pay off all my debts, move out of my house, still go to school, and have play money!! Yay for me!! Not to meantion that Herbie starts tomorrow and I'm goin with my friend to see it! yay!!! Okay, time for bed cuz I gotta start gettin up early now. heheh! Current Mood: shocked (Comment on this)

12:08 am	Yippy Skippyness! 12 days people!! yay!! I cannot wait! Get to see my brother, friends, kidilies, and my boy. Just hope I can fit it all in.... gotta somehow!! This weekend has been awesome so far!! The weather has been incredible, monsune season startin a lil early and there has been some amazing thunderstorms. Friday night I babysat 3 lil girls and a lil 16 month old boy. The girls stayed up till like 10:30 cuz of all the thunder and lightening and LUCKILY the lil boy slept through all of it. It was actually kinda cool though. The girls were scared, but handled it pretty well and I tend to be pretty patient with kids, so it was all good. Then last night the lightening was INCREDIBLE. I think it grounded every time. Wish I would have had my camara, could have gotten some cool pics. Got to go to some races tonight too... there was a girl racing and she ended up coming in 5th out of like 20 cars, and she started in 12th. I was cheerin her on all the way, very cool stuff. OH!! Btw, for all of you that haven't noticed my new pic. Yeah, me and my hero Herbie!!! Yeah baby!! hehehe. Yup, very sexy. Gonna make a poster of that pic and hang it on my wall... or frame it and put it above the mantle, lmao. Anyawyz, time for bed. Hope you all had a great weekend. 10:15 pm	Today Ohhh so tired. Summer is here, and I have yet to decide what to do with myself. I applied for another part time job but I doubt that I'll get it, just cuz I'm limited to the ammount of hours I can work, not to meantion the time off I need to go home. I cannot wait to go home!! I had a dream that I was last night and it was oh so very sweet. Did I meantion how freaking HOT it is down here?! Its been like a 100 degrees the past couple of days and according to the locals its gonna get a whole lot hotter. Crap. I didn't get to talk to my boy today. :( He's workin too much tryin to save to get his ass down here. The more money he has, the less time he has to live with his grandparents and we can get our place together. I can't wait. I've been waiting 6 years for this and never really thought it would happen. 4:16 pm	Whoah... what a night. Ohh my goodness has this week been crazy already. I am sooo friggin tired. I had finals on Monday and Wednesday, got all A's and B's in all my classes. Go me. :) Tuesday night I decided to go to Tucson to surprise my friend Ben for his birthday. We had a lot of fun. Him, Max and I all went swimming, out for dinner and then we took a trip up to Mt. Lemon. Didn't go to bed till like 5. Good times. Then last night, I went back to Tucson and went to Red Lobster for dinner and then went to the New Found Glory concert. Also saw Reggie and the Full Effect. Good show for the most part. Not so much in to NFG and I saw them last summer, but it was cool being with Ben and Max. It was my first concert with them. I even got in the pit a few times, Go me!! But haven't gotten much sleep lately. Nope nope. Got a class I'm taking all next weekend called Landmark. I can't wait, it'll be cool. Tiring, but cool.
